Presence as Practice
Moving to Transformation
Welcome
Moving to Presence is a pause button on the noise of life and a reminder of who you are in the present moment, without judgement.
Using movement, meditation, and conscious inquiries we practice being present as a way of connecting to ourselves and our inner wisdom.
From this place of presence and deep listening, we tap into our intuitive guidance system to transform our lives and the world around us.
-
Alone or in relationship, bringing mindful awareness to our bodies and our movement allows us to experience the present moment more fully. Presence in movement emphasizes attention to physical sensations, breath, and emotions that arise, including during everyday activities, as a gateway to deeper presence.
-
Stillness is not fixity. Stillness implies movement within achieved through focused attention, not rigidity. Stillness amid chaos is about finding clarity and navigating through change with a sense of flow and fluidity.
-
We discover ourselves more fully as we see in reflection in the mirror of another. A true teacher simply reflects back your own inner knowing, and reminds you of the vastness of your being.
Moving to Presence is pathway to a place of consciousness, relaxed presence, and coming home to ourselves.
-
How we show up matters… Presence in solidity requires listening - to ourselves and others, movement / action aligned with our values, and community.
Actively being present with and for others, especially those who are struggling or marginalized, with open hearts and eyes is our responsibility.
Each of us has unique gifts that can support the bigger change that is opening up in front of us right now. What do you stand for? How will you use your gifts in alignment with your values?
Moving to Presence is a place where we cultivate our capacity to listen to the wisdom of our bodies and the quiet whisperings of soul.
As we expand toward our tender, compassionate, engaged selves, we meet the world with a knowing that cultivates transformation, growth, liberation, and pathways of possibility - fully alive, fully present.
Whether you’re seeking to experience ease in your body and mind, live in full alignment with your values and vision, or contribute to a more just world, presence is the practice that lights the path and moves us forward to transformation.
